i got out of bed today

Dear Family (extended and otherwise)

The kids are fine. If they are not i will let you know.

Now please go away.

This is my place.

I have worked very hard on this for five years. I need this to be my place.

Thank you

Wish they would all go away eh? My family still hasn't found my blog yet, for which I am grateful. Good job on getting out of bed btw. Sorry I disappeared for awhile, promise to be back again soon. I wanted to say that right now, right now when things are difficult, look back at the things you would like to do right now, the ones just for you, and start with something really small.

Hugs and lots o love. Take care and be good to you.

Hugs to you babe!

Kim

I feel for you.

Delurking, as I've been following your blog for a few months now. I just want to thank you for being so honest and sharing your struggles, through which your strength really does blossom and inspire. I share a battle with significant depression, among my other life struggles, and often barely manage my days keeping one child afloat (how far afloat is often debatable!). I've been blogging for a few years, but (in large part due to family readership) have found that I only tend to share lite life tidbits which won't bother, offend or worry others. I'm inspired by fellow bloggers like you who are able to share so much of their real selves in this community. Anyhow, somehow I felt that I should express my thanks and support at least once in return for getting to be a reader...

:-)

It's very difficult to have a non-anonymous personal type of blog!

I finally made a decision to stop (and start a different sort of blog) because I couldn't bear the thought of inadvertently hurting someone I knew, or disregarding other people's desire for privacy. You are very courageous for doing this, but be sure to weigh the pros and cons. Eventually, when your kids are older, you may need to make a different decision, because their privacy will become an issue for them.

As long as it's a positive experience for you, keep doing it, but remember that you can stop, or go anonymous (giving the URL out only to those you choose) at any time.
