lost cause

My power has just come on after a 10 hour outage. A giant windstorm swept through my little village. Trees fell everywhere, including in my yard.

We came home for a few moments, then evacuated in fear of giant fir trees falling on the house.

I have so many christmas cards i am planning on rolling naked in them.

I am okay. I called the doctor. Shane made an intervention. I am seeking therapy.

I am scared. To come out from behind this curtain. I am weak.

I am doing this for him. For you.

I am going to be better.

I am ready, so ready, to be happy.

Thank you everybody.

Good. I'm so ready to hear about it. So happy for you to be happy.

you can do it. you are one brave motherfucker.

You'll make sure that Shane gets some video of you rolling in the cards, right?

Be well.

I really don't want my comment to sound like a cheezy love song, but Jess,

you can do it,
I believe in you,
we're all here to support you. XOXO.

Don't forget to do it for you because you deserve all the happiness in the world. You CAN do this.

Like everyone else...I await your happiness, too.

We love you, Jess, even if we're not local.

Be happy.

Oh honey, you are not a lost cause. You are a beautiful person who deserves happiness. I'm sorry about the storm, hope you didn't lose too many trees. And, I'm sorry I haven't mailed my card yet, I keep thinking we're going to take a family photo to include in them but we haven't done it yet. But we will, and I'll send you a card, I promise!

Deb

As my best friend says in instances like this, "keep truckin." Somehow that just makes me put my head down and perservere.

Your brood is just so great. So much personality. They are so lucky to have a mum who appreciates their individuality and is so involved in making their lives so full.

Keep Truckin Gurl
