spring

So, three weeks ago it was freezing. It was actually snowing. And today, today the girls went swimming in the lake. It wasn't like polar bear swimming either. It was a sunbathing hot day at the beach. The water was freezing. But it felt so good to be out, not in the rain, warmed by the sun, playing in the sand. We rushed home for a quick dinner then we had our parents team softball game. All the kids played in the woods while the parents had a great time too. Such an awesome day.

I have way more to say but my wrists are on fire again. So instead here's another photo (more at Flickr!)

Holy Moley, which lake is it?? We seem to be being paid back for our warm, snow free winter with a cold spring that is taking it's time getting underway, alas.
I spent 5 days in Seattle though and that would be similar to your spring, wouldn't it? It was ccol but pretty lush already. Some pics of it are up out my way, finally. Nice to see you a bit more cheerful..?.or whatever..the good weather helps. I need to tell you about my year in B.C. sometime....

Still wintry here, which I don't get because I think you are farther north than we are, but of course you have some kind of ocean warming effect, right? Lovely photos. I know exactly the type of day you mean.
