*m*a*s*h*

peek

Hello? Hello? I've been trapped inside my house for six days and i think i've lost my mind. Send help!

  • Tristan - on the mend. antibioitics FINALLY working. fever down
  • Toby - fever up to 104 yesterday. trip to emergency. mommy scared. strep throat. antibiotics. feeling better today.
  • Eliza - woke up with croup on thursday night. very scary. call 911. feeling better today. on three kinds of steroids.
  • Parker - trooper all week. started throwing up last night. up from midnight until 6am. sleep for 90 minutes and up for the day. grumpy as hell.

I had the strangest hot and heavy dream last night (i actually slept at some point. Not sure when.) about billie joe armstrong?! of green day. (Something about men in makeup.) We were in a mall shopping and i really wanted to, you know, fool around. In all my dreams i am my awkward, ugly, chubby fifteen year old self. He wasn't that in to me. Apparently though his girlfriend was hot lips houlihan.

Shane also declared our house alcohol free a week ago. I hate him a lot right now.

A dry household, with 4 sick kids? You must rebel, Jess, you must.

Kim

Why on earth would he instill such cruel punishment? Does he hate you?

You know? I think he does. He just left for work. On saturday. For the whole day. Didn't help with anything! Fucker. I hate him today.

I'm on my way with a 6 pack of Corona and 2 bottles of red. STAT.

(Beer for me, wine for you).

Can he declare the house dry if he isn't there and isn't helping with the kids? I assume you can order some wine online and have it delivered.

It takes two adults (in a marriage) to make a decision, Jess. Stand your ground. Hugs to you!

You have my deepest sympathies chicky! Look at the bright side, at least you are not running a fever or puking? Right??? That said, I'm gonna go get me a drink and toast you. Hope your weekend improves dramatically!

Hi Sweetie
I just looked back at a bunch of your photos- your luminously lovely children- Hang in there!
New post over at my place- wish we could make a side trip to see you-- it's not really that far....maybe sometime, eh,?

Jen

Oh I feel for you! Hope that everyone is getting better. Croup is EVIL, almost as awful as not getting to drink at the end of a long stressful day taking care of FOUR sick children.

I got the flu my kids had/have. It turned into bronchitis and I scored some robitussin with codine. whoo hoo!! I wish the bottle was, uh, bigger, though.

stay well

Ada

Is it the wetter weather? What's causing all this sickness? Have you had your house tested for mold? Do you wnt me to drink for the both of us? - because I will. I'm that kind of bloger friend. Perhaps I can roll a splif for you?

Can he do that? I suppose he can if you can't leave the house to go to the liquor store.

I hope the pestilence is over this week and you'll all be out playing in the sun. Hang on, honey. It'll get better.

Both tristan and toby's classes had only 5-6 kids in them all week out of 13. That's a lot of sick kids.

I have thought f getting my house tested for mold. A friend of ours does it for a living.

Last night shane brought home some beer and sushi. Unfortunately, i have stepped up the plague in my body and went to bed early.
