my chest it is heavy

I am heavy chested. Why? Because i am off on my girls weekend without parker! My boob, just one, is feeling a little overwhelmed. Parker has only nursed on the right side for quite some time. So, i'm lopsided - one large engorged boob and one happy go lucky little boob. Awesome! That is just what a girl coming off of cold sores, dry skin PMS acne zits and newly defined wrinklage needs to build that self esteem. Do they make bras for weirdo boobs like that?

I don't even know what to wear to bed tonight. Out of habit i brought my nursing bra and silky girly boxers. But, if the mood struck me i could sleep naked. In my parents house! The horror of it all.

Plus, sleep. I could, theoretically, sleep through the entire night. For the first time in almost nine years i am going to sleep alone and uninterrupted. Except for my GI-Normous righty booby.

I'm freaking out a little here. Plus! No alcohol. Fucking shit. I think tomorrow night i might even go out. With friends! I just have to find some of those - friends. That is if i can find an outfit to suitably hide my righty lefty booby problem.

Hi Jess,
Lucky you, make sure you SLEEEP! and good luck with the boob project.
My oldest nursed like that-she had a preference for one side and almost never made it over to the second one at one session, which could be agonizing!
Now they (the boobs)....well, heh, lets say that I am semi seriously considering surgical intervention, but at least they ARE fairly symmetrical in all their droopiness.
Thanks for dropping by my site- there is a "Cello Player of the Day" post up now that is pretty cute-she is 6 years old.

I named my boobs Bob and Elvis (as in Breastly) -Theya was always an Elvis fan and Bob slowly produced less and less. For the last few months of nursing she wouldn't even consider nursing on Bob so I was lopsided, too.

I haven't nursed for more than a year and a half and one boob is still way lower than the other. my left one. hmpf. only the knife would help, and i think i have other problems to fix first.

i hope you have a nice weekend!!! drink!

I'm waiting to hear that you couldn't sleep well without the babe. That's what would happen to me...that may be what's happening to me now, since it's almost morning and I'm still up!!

Ah I hope you enjoy your time away. It can be rough at times but awesome at others.

I have the same problem with righty and lefty. I fought for a long time to keep her nursing on the left side, but it just wasn't worth the effort after a while. I've been lopsided so long, I'm just hoping I don't have to buy different sized bras and sew them together when I'm done. Very supportive bras, at that!

deep breaths...

Both my kids were single side nursers...I got used to seeing my lopsided rack in the mirror but never really got used to the looks people used to give me.

So I know what you mean.

Max always favored my left side. And I swear all these years later, I'm still lopsided. Also, Jess, your cryptic note on my site -- what did it mean? I'm a bit stupid html-wise -- have I done something wrong?

My advice -- pack a flask.

I hope you find a way to get your hands on some alcohol. Maybe in a bar. With your friends. If you end up dancing ON the bar, we want pics.

Happy Booby-Drop weekend to you!

Why no alcohol? Girls weekend AT YOUR PARENTS' HOUSE??? Why?

My left boob was always the more popular of "the two girls". Mainly, I think, because it required less work on the part of the baby in question.

My 'girls' weekend is with my two beautiful daughters, tristan and eliza, and my equally gorgeous five year old niece bryn.
