Family New Year Fun

So, we let the kids stay up until midnight - new york time. We changed the clocks in the house three hours ahead, made a special yummy dinner, drank some kiddy fizz champagne, watched the westminster dog show and dick clark. Then, sent them to bed at midnight *cough* 9pm.

Here's how it looked (the photos look poopy because i only have the built-in flash):

the dinner being prepared. Yes! my kids eat mussels and clams! Amazing.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!

Kim

That last photo is priceless.

OMG!!!! What a great idea...setting those clocks ahead!! I wish I had done that here! My kids were harassing me to stay up until midnight and I just couldn't do it (currently dieting and needed to go to bed or eat the entire contents of the rogue bag of Doritos in the cabinet and guzzle down a bottle of Merlot I got as a Christmas gift)

Brilliant... brilliant brilliant!!!!

...idiot idiot I am an idiot.. of course that whole plan would not really work for ME because I am in the same time zone as New York.... disregard the above rambling....lol

However... still brilliant on your part for your family!! :)
